Skilled, hard working, loyal, small business owner, and Registered Nurse, married over 30 years - Christian couple looking to start or join a SW Georgia area preparedness group. We have been seriously preparing for about a year now, and have our beans, bullets, and band-aides in order for the first year or so. I am looking for like minded people interested in forming a group or just being part of a network that can be beneficial to everyone. Only if its to share information and/or skills. I have only been prepping for about a year or so – but I believe that I have learned much and stocked up pretty well.
I’m in North West GA and am looking for like minded folks to “grow” with. I dont know the right word for it so I’ll use “grow”. But I want to know, learn, share, noodle, do, etc more with getting prepared.
I am a father, husband, christian, hunter, crossfiter, athletic etc person. I figure I own paper insurance, I should probably have some tangible insurance too.
This “hello” might lead to a talk over beers or a group that creates a retreat. I dont know… I’ve never done this sort of thing before. typically i keep quiet about my interests… well b/c you know.

Just looking for some prep’ minded folks in the Wiregrass area of Alabama. Watching the Katrina experience made me realize that I could someday look down Main Street and wonder why it reminds me of other places I never wanted to visit in the first place, but did because the government was paying me to provide my body to plug a hole in the foreign policy plan. Have been prepping in small ways and am interested in trading ideas with like minded individuals that aren’t digging bunkers in the back yard and staying up late counting black helicopters. I have seen the unwieldy arm of government in action understand that the concept of second and third order effects is lost on the folks driving the ship of state. I figure that if it gets bad, either from a natural event like Katrina or some man-made catastrosphe, we might just have to muddle through without, or in spite of, the help of the government.
