Few folks realize that most truly do not plan ahead. The few that even try often can not afford owning a secondary out of the way location with supportive infrastructures set up for a month or a year or more. Their current home/location will simply not function if the grid shuts down, utilities shut off and their area falls apart. They have possibly even tried to recruit others to share in a land buy with plans to share the costs to develop it… to no avail.

My wife and I along with some others here have gone to great lengths and expense to make this sixty acre semi remote ranch very well equipped and secured. We offer some of those without a safer location an option here. We are still looking for a few remaining qualified adult couples of like mind and spirit to join with us. We might consider a single but no promises… There is also a set limit here which the infrastructure can wisely support. We are not (survivalists) looking “forward” to hard times. More like realists and good folks who are well prepared, treating each other with respect creating good working relationships maintaining strict silence. No location is perfect and certainly no group of people is perfect. Regardless we are striving together to increase our collective ability to survive almost any disaster. In the mean time we enjoy life normally all in our own homes scattered about the region. My wife and I live at our Ranch full time.

We must get to know ahead of time those others we might need to labor with here…Thus would prefer folks in the northwest region (or who are relocating here) which are then are able to get here safely within a short days drive. That is a reasonable amount of time in the event of most emergencies. Most are in various late stages of preparing and are pre-positioning to join up here.

If our offer is not for you, we do not intend on what we are doing to be a comparison issue or a put down to your ideas. Good luck to all of you working hard at planning ahead….

About us {our group believes} that few of us operating alone during an extended dangerous time can safely sleep, prepare food, eat, bath, grow food, cut/split firewood, take care of the chores, raise our children, relax and very importantly watch the perimeters… all at the same time. All those in our group lead by the example of having gotten “it done” and are “well prepped” as per our common list. (no lip service here). Neither our group or us will provide any supplies for you, we a only offer a safer place. We strive to team up with additional folks (healthy, in good physical shape, vigorous and non smokers) along with qualified mental attitudes and willing hands we believe would go a long way in successfully surviving a long term dangerous and stressful event. We prepare to join and work together here (only during a crisis event duration), to stay safer until things settled back down again… We are “like minded” folks here on those points.

The Ranch is able to operate on or off the power grid. {leading by example}. Our operation can also reproduce some seasonal food stores and raise food animals. Everyone coming on board must be very dedicated, trainable concerning this location, be able to happily work together, be respectful, operate within the clearly stated normal rules/guidelines, hike the hills, prepare meals, garden, clean up, equally maintain their watches (cold or hot) handle their firearms or fill in for another partner’s position. This is an organized collective team/family effort to survive during what could be deadly time… which we hope never occurs.

The group… initially qualifies folks who respond to this posting by what they have “already acquired and accomplished ” not by their “wishful intent or talk of future preparations”. Your willingness and ability to “get it done” is what you will need here…. in truth actually anywhere.

If we are contacted by you, then through the procession of emails… to phone calls… to personal visits you will be either accepted …or not by us. Of course you must like what you find here. If mutually accepted you then begin the process to full on board membership. You will be required to fill 100% of our “Group List” to qualify as per material needs while you and the rest of our team gets to know each other. Of course you are encouraged to acquire more than the list but at least you are providing for your basic needs within our list. For the good of the whole group we feel everyone must first be an asset and that is up to you to make that happen. As we see it that is your reasonable service and responsibility here.

This is our vetting procedure with each other. This relationship can be terminated at any time during this process if either party finds it not wise to continue. Once the list is 100% filled and you have earned the confidence and respect of our entire group you will be allowed to come fully on board. At that point you will also have earned the position to be an active part of the decision making process here. That also means you now have earned a secured place and position on this Ranch site in the case of a terrible crisis event. Let me make this clear…you will not be allowed on to this Ranch during any said crisis until all the above has been accomplished. We must be able to count on you being here fully prepared just as much as you count on us…

Your personal skills and training along with ours will be very important and valuable to us all. However any such skills will not be allowed to substitute for your lack of dedication and preparedness in your supplies. Our group is comprised of highly devoted and very well prepared mature couples. For us it is imperative that both halves of your couple are on the very same page in “mind set and willingness to work hard”. This for the common good and the well being of yourselves and this group. You both must have fully addressed the possible emotional issues of grown children or family and or friends not fully on board… being left behind. No exceptions. Please do not contact us unless these and other such issues like your financial ability and location have been honestly addressed.

In turn, our growing group can provide a very secure and comfortable semi remote location to those couples who qualify. If a couple is accepted by our group, they would also need (as per your group list) a well equipped R.V. type shelter for their personal and private living quarters “before” showing up in case of an emergency. It does not need to be pretty just in good working order and there are several nearby RV storage locations if you so desire. You can not just show up without your living quarters being secured and remaining list 100% filled. No one owns a part of our Ranch. No one builds here or stays here other than during an agreed upon level of an extended crisis or disaster.

We have already created RV parking inside under cover or in the open, unlimited water, scheduled power supply and outhouses to handle several units. Aside from our personal home, we have a rustic guest home (occupied by our family only during a crisis event) with several bedrooms. If the weather becomes to severe to handle in your (RV) primary personal quarters, the guest house is a great short term “fall back position” although crowded. We’ve also teamed up with some of our other secluded neighbors out here in various ways doing much of the same thing… watching each others backs.

Remember… none of us know the hour/day of the potential need to fall back to a much safer preplanned location. Disasters whether economic or natural or man made do not just occur at 11:00 am on a warm and sunny day….with warning? It might happen in the rain and cold or the middle of the night or dead of winter…. are you ready? We are not preoccupied with hoping any event would ever happen (rather we go about our normal lives enjoy every day to the fullest). That is another reason for your R.V… take it camping or use it as storage for your needed gear.

Your level of preparations and how you conduct yourself… (to us) speaks clearly of your true level of belief and commitment. Many say they want to and start out prepping but few really get far. In addition if you wish to join up with us we fully except you to complete your needed preparations very quickly. We will have to place a numerical limit on families with little children, “no pets”, mostly just mature couples. Young children simply draw away from the limited available adult work force needed here to keep this a safe and functioning operation. Also life under such conditions will not be like it is today. It will tough and dirty as a wise person realizes during a real extended crisis event. After realizing this truth most folks just give up and go back to hoping nothing will ever happen to them. Simple facts and no worries.

Also we find some folks are overly focused on Scriptural events like the “Tribulation” or areas they see in the Bible which they try to apply towards themselves and others… again not here. Although we and the majority here are of some form of Christian faith, we are not all so led nor need to be. We all prep for any and all possible events which we have seen happen down through two thousand years of history even as people preached the “Tribulation” was at hand. Regardless we still need to be and will be a cohesive group… not a bunch of folks trying to preach their own personal beliefs to each other.

As you can expect none of us wish to or intend to help overthrow our government or challenge our local authority. (We always vote). We (wisely observing their past actions) and just don’t believe they are truly equipped to handle the masses in a large crisis… let alone their own families. We don’t accept others who dislike people outside their own race or specific faith {who knows who we will team up with}. Just good “American Citizens” wishing to work together to survive a possible crisis well prepared and successfully able to survive….so after the dust clears we can be part of the rebuilding. Please note that no one is forced to stay with us, nor are we a cult, a religious end of times and days group, a militia, a commune, a control group or anything strange to you or us. Now if you are interested feel free to contact us and tell us about yourselves. You can list all your weapons and ammo if you wish to…but much more importantly tell us about yourself and your long term daily survival supplies. Again…tell us about yourselves, we have already told you enough about us. Contact through this site or leave us a message.

Safety in numbers…if those numbers are well prepared.

Former military and LE. Christian and family man.
I live in (and have a retreat in) Northern Idaho, but my work/job will be taking me to Colorado Springs for the summer (June/July). I’ll be driving down and back with gear, fuel, and commo in case something goes down while I’m away from home.

I’m looking for two things:
1. A halfway point (or some point along the way) that I could get to as a safe-place if I need to refuel, sleep, and rest before hitting the road again. I could offer security and a helping hand if I am forced to link up with you for a day or two or until the dust settles, if needed. I’d like to keep half my fuel at a safe place along the route while I’m down there. That way I can get home, but if something happened to me you could use it.
My primary bugout routes are from Co, to WY, MT, and then to ID. Alternate routes would take me from CO, to UT, to ID/MT. Would love to have contact with like-minded folks along the way home if anything really bad ever happens while I’m away from my family and retreat group.

2. Would like to know if anyone may have the same (or similar) bugout routes in the event of a TEOTWAWKI situation during that time-frame. Would like to make a tentative linkup plan to travel in numbers (safety). Will be armed and have food, fuel, tools, etc. but am prepared to travel cross-country on foot if I have to abandon vehicle. Hopefully be able to locate some likeminded retreats along the route home. Please let me know. Thanks. God bless.

Hello there. My wife and I would like to join a well established group located somewhere in ID, MT, WY, WA, ND area. The safer and better the retreat will of course be our first choice.

About us. We are both military officers. She is currently on Active Duty and I just did six years in Iraq/Afghanistan for the state department with one of the big name contracting companies.

In the Army I was an Infantry officer and Special Forces. I have been through the 18D and 18A course. Ranger LRSD plenty of other schools. I am a Hazmat Technician and Weapons of Mass Destruction Specialist if you have CBRNE concerns. My resume is extensive and I dont want to list it all here. included are Sniper, Gunsite shotgun/carbine/pistol – all completed their highest course. Multiple combat awards.

Wife and I are both from Alaska and backwoods savvy. I am a life member of National Trappers Assoc and can trap and snare and own a dream trapline.

We are of high moral character. We have no children though my wife loves them. We are well equipped but still need to get our food reserves. We are financially sound. We lack mechanical and agricultural experience. Tactically, wilderness survival and self defense wise, or NBC related – we pretty much have covered.

Thanks. Drop me an email at jcl.ups@gmail.com

Many posting ads are still attempting to acquire just a few basics and to meet people, possibly buy and develop some remote piece of land… with strangers? That will take a lot of cash, trust, years of work including membership turn over and the legal expenses to do that…if ever. Our location is tested and ready to be put into operation.

If our offer is not for you, we do not intend on what we are doing to be a comparison issue or a put down to your ideas… Good luck to all of you working hard at planning ahead….

Your personal skills and training along with ours will be very important and valuable to us all. Our group is comprised of highly devoted and very well prepared mature couples. It appears that the average couples financial investments into all their current long term quality food, needed medicines, clothing, personal needs, weapons, ammo, technical gear and so much more for a one full year minimum has varying ranges. After one full year they can qualify but are then expected to expend to three years. One person might be content with a used 500.00 bolt action rifle while another wants something for 2,000.00 or more. There are many options from which to complete the required supply list.

For us it is imperative that both halves of your couple are on the very same page in “mind set and willingness to work hard” at this for the common good and the well being of yourselves and this group. You both must have fully addressed the possible emotional issues of grown children or family and or friends not fully on board… being left behind. No exceptions. I have found many people with the “survivalist” perspective to be very independent. That is fine, but not here. We need to be a cohesive group… not a bunch of folks doing their own thing their own way…. In addition the truth is people come and go in life. Having joint ownership in a location poses tremendous problems when they need to move on…. not so here.

As you can expect none of us wish to or intend to help overthrow our government (we vote) or challenge our local authority.
