Newbie looking to pick up essential “skills”. Located in Western MD, close to Mason Dixon line. I am a business Project Manager, with a degree in IT. I am a decent aim a rifle and pistol from being in the USN. I am currently in the process of setting aside some money for the guns, beans and bullets. We are single male 35 and best friend single male 45, intelligent, outdoors types, skilled hunters and local business owners. In the wake of current financial inequity of this country and government fiscal irresponsibility, we are seeking to form a group of organized individuals for a master game plan for the “WHAT IF” We are interested in planning all aspects of socioeconomic collapse. Safe haven, food supply, location, supplies, strategy, safety etc…..if there are other local individuals that are like minded and would like to be prepared IN CASE of the worst we would like to hear from you.
Until this past year life was good and had no major concerns other than planning to retire. While watching Glen Beck in Jan, he had a guest on from Trends Research that spoke about things to prepare for because of our economic mess. It got me going and I have not stopped reseaching info and starting to plan for the tough times ahead. Most of my friends think I am crazy so I don’t even go there anymore. I live in Annapolis Md. and would like to exchange views with like minded folks. We are Christians, but not zealots either. I fear for my children and my grandkids. Familyman whom is financially challenged making a stand. I’m fixing up my house to sell and hope to parlay into a home with 5 – 10 acres within the region. Been educatin myself and putting back, for about a year now and plan to hole up in the hills of Garrett, Somerset, or Mineral counties. More inclined to do it on my own, but am open to discussing groups or general info/strategies with others. Bugging out locally, you might say. Someone has to make a stand in the leftist state of maryland. Just hoping these fools, can “keep the wheels on” for another 6 mths or so. Have a good one .
