Well the Colorado thing didnt work out like I had planned. I have found 20 acres in Oklahoma That has live water running through the property. Has a small 2 bedroom cabin a 5th wheel camper on the land. The land is heavily wooded and it is a year round water source with an abundance of turkey, deer, quail.
I have been to the property 3 times and plan to take ownership Of it in the middle of November. Contracts are being written up so it is pretty much a done deal.
I am looking for 1 0r 2 other people to join me in making this 20 acres a viable living area. If I can find someone from the beginning to help me develope the land and to get everything set up I would be willing to make a deal to give you 5-10 acres to do with as you wish. However I am not just g oing to give you anything from the beginning, you will have to earn it. I will not tell you where the land is at till I speak with you and meet you to see if we would work together in this project. There is no electricty on the land so you cant be a mamas boy and cry all the time. There will be heat and there will be lights. The heat will be provided by cast iron wood stove and the light by hurricane lights.
What i expect from you is to have your preps for at least 6 months, level head and a desire to work and accomplish a common goal. If you are into drugs then dont even reply. Have other preps as well, cold weather clothing, your personal weapons and ammo, your medical supplies. IF everything works well and we do build together then we can pool our resources and go from there.

I have 4 children and am married, and live in the river valley in Arkansas. My husband thinks Im crazy so not sure if he would be going with me when the time comes. I have only recently become aware of all these sites and realize I have no way as of now to protect my kids. I dont have much to offer as of right now, but plan to start stockpiling as soon as I can. I am the head of a small family in Mid-Missouri. We have attained the usual preps; food, self defense, a few like-minded friends, but we don’t have a plan. What do we do now? I would wish to contact more people\families\groups in our area. Perhaps to formally join or offer mutual aid. Everyone is welcome to contact me to share ideas. Information from groups outside my area is welcome also. I have questions like how to screen prospects from my family until trusted, how to tell the leaches from the hard workers, how do I set up group by-laws, stuff like that. Relocating from So Cal by July-Aug 2010, and looking to join group in MO. Ozarks area. My Parents have a lake cabin but looking for retreat to fall back when it goes bad. There are 4 of us, Myself(42) and my wife and my Dad and Mom. My Dad and I are both Ex Air Force. My Dad is an amateur Farmer and truly has a green thumb but building inspector by trade. I was a machinist at Boeing (6 years) and currently a Land Surveyor (7 years). We have a year+ of foodstuffs to live off of and can work as well.
