Hi all,
I have been a prepper for about a year now. I am looking to meet up with like-minded people or an established group. I am a jack of all trades, and am good with construction, Communications (licensed Amateur Radio Operator), and just about anything else that needs doing. I tried to start a prepper group a couple of years ago, but everyone wanted to go at it alone, which I now feel is not the wisest choice. I am married and have a 10 yr old son. My wife and I are in our lower 30s and have alot of skills to give. We both work in IT, but have many other skills.
We are not a religious family, but do believe strongly in the basic rights of man to believe, worship, speak, etc. We do believe in God. We have a strong work ethic and are respectful of others. We respect others’ views and don’t try to convert anyone to our way of thinking.

Hi All -
I currently live in the Houston area and know for a fact that the city is not a safe place (especially if the SHTF). I am looking for other individuals or a group either in the West Texas area or northern New Mexico area (or anyplace that is above 3000 ft and away from the coast & major cities) that I could hook-up with in case of an “emergency.” I would bring my own supplies – I just need someplace safe to go.
I am prior military. I served 16 years in the AF in the medical field; I have no issues with either following or leading a group - I have done both under extreme conditions (i.e. real world mass casualty). I am a certified CPR/1st Aid Instructor. I can treat basic wounds, splint fractures, suture minor wounds, and even triage. I am currently working on my Electrical Engineering degree - I have 2 1/2 years left though until it is done. My son (16)and I both own guns and are starting to stockpile ammo. We are in the process of gathering materials and knowledge we think we will need (i.e. Heirloom seeds, gardening books, herbal remedies, etc). We both know basic wilderness survival skills, we know how to fish & we both want to learn how to hunt. Plus I can cook just about anything.

PS: I am not a bible thumper; I believe every individual’s belief system is personal. And I am not anti-government – I just believe in being prepared.
My son and I are moving to New Mexico soon. I would like us to join a family oriented, community type group. We’re not interested in cults, and so on. We would prefer US constitutional , Christian communities. However ; we respect others beliefs. Preserving true American values is our goal for ourselves and like minded people. Anyone know of any groups, please share the info….Thank-you.

I’m looking to relocate someplace rural; east of the Cascades, north of Colorado, west of the Mississippi. My house will be on the market this year (praying it sells fast) and want to purchase a few acres near a town no larger than 2000 and at least 2 hrs driving time from a town larger than that. If anyone knows of any such property for sale, please let me know.
