I’m currently looking for other preppers in NY and Long Island area. I’m from Flushing, Queens with a wife and 2 kids. I’m currently working as computer tech/programmer and a self defense instructor (18 years experience) and an ex-champion kickboxer . I have other skills and resources to contribute also. My main objective is to form a group and be able to count on each other if disaster strikes.

Hi,
I am interested in finding like minded individuals who are prepping in New York. I am located south of Buffalo and am looking for someone to hunt with in this area. I also would like to camp, hike and fish, or just chat about survival preparations.
I’m a 26 yr old former Army medic and prepper who is uncomfortable not having a support network. I was hoping there might be other survival minded individuals -or groups- in the area who would be interested in sharing skill sets and information. I know it is difficult to offer or ask about a potential “double up” situation in the area as properties are so blasted small, but a mutual aid agreement or even just knowing someone you can trust and communicate with in trying times can be of immense value. I don’t know if anything will come of this, but hopefully I can have the opportunity to meet some good people and we can all have a better chance of getting through our tribulations.
My wife are in our early 50s and looking to talk with others in the Capital District area of NY. We’re just starting out but we’re both on board.
looking for preppers in the area i am married and 3 children 15,13,8 all girls. i lived on farm when i was young and did farming. i am looking for a safe place to take my family when tshtf. I am getting things together myself but no one i know seems to understand whats coming or going on. i also have done lots of handyman work minor electric and minor plumbing. need help it is hard trying to do things on my own and lots of people just dont care it seems. have some supplies and i am getting more soon.

I live in Rochester New York, and am looking to meet other preppers in my general area of Western New York. I am in early stages of prepping this time around…although I was all set for Y2K. And was fairly well set after Sept 11th. Ashamed to say I let my guard down a bit for a while. Just my daughter and myself.
I am looking to get some land in rural area, build small retreat. I am handy with tools, firearms, and wildlife reabbing of birds. I am an artist — have good mind for design and creative ideas. Good “outside the box” thinker.
I am garden enthusiast, and have background in nutrition, natural healing, astronomy, and geology…and a non-useful degree in English Literature!

We are forming a group on 85 acres in NY. Non religious- Non Political. Cabins are being built currently. One family has taken up permanent residence as caretakers. Orchards are going in about 4 weeks from now, and animals begin arriving in two weeks. Ponds, woods, and small river. We welcome both men and women singles as well as families. Willingness to work required. If you do not have time to devote, we have people who will do your share, but will want to be paid. You still must be on property at least 4 times a year. This will be a complete set up with hydroelectric, wind and solar as well as back up gen. Central commissary AND in cabin kitchens. Trade cabins (wood-shop, pottery, bees, dairy, etc) gun range, horses and all farm animals. Every cabin will have it’s own small green house as well as large central greenhouses- including a tropical greenhouse with coffee, bananas, citrus, etc. We all pay equal shares, live on land full time or part time- your choice. Children welcome, and we currently do have children in the group. Bigots need not apply. We do have a vetting process, good natured and hard working people preferred. Yes – we have a swimming pool 
2.5 hours outside NYC close to PA, CT, NJ, MA and Canada
