I am looking for a retreat or a place to go to when yellowstone blows up due to a volcanic explosion or when s— hits the fan, preferably west of I- 95. Also anyone know of land for sale west of I – 95 that contain any old mines or caverns large enough for 2 large RVs and 4 connex boxes? As a husband and father, I am looking to be careful with the exposure to my family and yours; I would like to form a skills based group. If you are skilled an area that will help you and others survive and would like to meet people without trying to just jump into a group please email me. This is just a first attempt at trying to organize a group with emphasis on skills. This would be a jeans and t-shirts kind of thing with the goal of trying to obtain skills and form friendships that could lend better into forming a group. No militia, no anti-gov, etc… and no long term commitments as the focus is to share skills and form local friendships of like minded people. If you have read the Patriot and have some of the skills that “The Group” had I hope you will consider lending your tutor skills to others. Looking to keep it small and dynamic. For example, I am not a big hunter or fisher and would love to learn both from a survival view (compared to a recreational view).

I have been practicing basic skills most of my 42 year life. Wife of 17 years with 2 daughters. Daughters can trap, fish, and are learning blacksmithing/ welding. Wife gardens and cans fruits and veggies. I am trying to get my neighbors involved, without scaring them. I would like to get to know of a retreat west of the 95 corridor. Somewhat new to the prepardness game. Have been an avid outdoors type person all my life, hunting, fishing, camping, etc… The path this once great country is on can’t be sustainable forever, thus I think it wise to be ready for any eventualities. Have some food stored, land to grow on, working on weapons (I like Russian stuff, simple and reliable), comms and the like. Interested in networking with like minded folks, maybe even starting up a group. Let’s chat and we’ll see where it goes. I do not live on line, so I may not get back to you for a few days. I may be contacted at: vasurvivalist@hotmail.com

Hello All,
I have an existing group in Northern VA that is just now getting started. We are looking for people with either existing skills or willing to learn. No Militia types, we are a pro-gov’t group that is preparing for any worst case scenario possible. Also we are not a racist, or hate group, but we do strongly support the 2nd amendment. My group is centrally located between Charlottesville, DC, Fredericksburg, and Farmville, VA. Many of our members have wives, or serious girlfriends, none of us are real loners. Reply if you’re interested with a email address and I’ll be in touch.
Not looking to form or join a group. I would like to network and communicate with fellow preppers in the counties of Wythe, Patrick, Carroll, and Floyd Virginia. Also Surry and Wilkes county North Carolina. I have 16 years of experience in the military. 2 tours in Iraq. Some of my hobbies include ATVs, hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping with family and friends. I’m capable of processing my own venison, canning, mechanicing, carpentry, and ammo reloading. I also like to shoot IDPA competitions. If anyone needs friendly advice, I’m here for them. I have been some places and done some things. I also have opinions on good gear, and bug out kits. Please no violent radical retoric. My E-mail is vacountryboycansurvive@gmail.com

I have recently moved to Barboursville, VA with intent of retiring in the area. I would like to meet like minded people interested in building a cooperative network when the pending collapse occurs.
I grew-up in northern Michigan learning hunting, fishing, canning, gardening, tracking and basic winter survival skills with 20+ years of added skills from the military (6 MOS areas). I’m currently training for my EMT certification to round out my first aid skills (above the military centric base).
Please, serious inquiries only.
If your interested please email me at isopsyco@yahoo.com
