my wife and i recently moved down to west virginia from michigan due to me being laid off for 3 years. as a result, i dont know anyone down here and its a little scary not having anyone you can trust. im looking for someone around my age (25) that is into preparing for whatever may happen, as well as someone to hang out with. my wife and i have no friends down here and it would be great to have a couple to do things with that i could trust if/when something goes down.

Morgantown based group now forming to purchase acreage in the surrounding area. Members receive private acreage across from a community center and shared use of surrounding land. I am a recently separated unschooling 50 year old mom of a 10 year old son. I am currently caretaking/trying to make a go of it in a rural West Virginia, beautiful but unfinished house. I need help. Is there someone out there that is looking for a rustic adventure for the summer or longer if we can prepare to stay for the winter, that is unschooling their child? My son needs an adventuremate and I need a handyman looking for a caretaking/repairing/preparing situation. I am also into healthy, unprocessed and raw foods and herbal medicine as well as surviving. I am not looking for romance.
